Juliana Paes, Márcio Garcia, Rodrigo Lombardi, Christiane Torloni, Débora Bloch, Alexandre Borges, Humberto Martins, Humberto Martins, Antônio Calloni, Eliane Giardini, Eliane Giardini, Nívea Maria, Bruno Gagliasso, Paula Pereira and Carolina Oliveira are some of artists who played well in the serial. It is also an astonishing factor that the directors do not beg any help from Bollywood for their venture. The story author Glória Perez, is also a popular Brazilian TV episode writer. Her daughter, actress Daniela Perez, was murdered by a co-star on December 28th 1992 in Rio de Janeiro .

Hi
thanx for sharing this. It comes at a very interesting point in my life. I am in the process of writing a paper on challenges to development communication in India, as part of my media course in Denmark and have been reading about the popular teleserial of the 1980s HUM LOG. Apparently, that was inspired by Mexican teleserials. The trend was set by Simplemente Maria, a peruvian telenovela wherein the main character, a woman, becomes rich by sewing.
I hope a serial like this would be produced in India and set an example for the removal of caste prejudices.
My congratulations Sarojini for write about brazilian soap opera, WAY TO INDIA. Here in Brazil I'm always speakink about you and indian people and culture. Go ahead...
I am American, married to a brazilian, and have been watching Caminho das Indias with much interest.
I am especially interested to know if it has been broadcast in India, if Indian people have had a chance to watch it, and what are the opinions of the novela?
OLÁ CHRITIANE, IF YOUR HUSBAND IS BRAZILIAN, THEN HE CAN TRANSLATE TO YOU MY COMMENT.
A NOVELA "CAMINHO DAS INDIAS" NUNCA SERÁ TRANSMITIDA NA INDIA DEVIDO A QUESTÕES CULTURAIS DO MESMO MODO QUE TAMBEM SÃO POUCOS OS FILMES AMERICANOS TRANSMITIDOS NO PAÍS.
CENAS DE INTIMIDADE FISICA ENTRE CASAIS JAMAIS SÃO VEICULADAS POR LÁ.
NÃO HÁ QUALQUER CENA DE BEIJO OU SEXO NOS FILMES LOCAIS. NÃO HÁ A FIGURA DO CASAL DE NAMORADOS NAS RUAS OU EM QUALQUER OUTRO LUGAR.
OUTRA COISA, A NOVELA FOCALIZA APENAS A VIDA NO ESTADO DO RAJASTÃO
India is always good in every respect ...
Thanks a lot fo r sharing this topic
